New Zealand A vs India A, 3rd Unofficial Test – Match Review. The third and final unofficial Test match between the A team’s of New Zealand and India ended in stalemate. Thus, the series also ended in a draw as the first two matches had also been drawn. India A won the toss in the final match and decided to bat first. The tourists made 323 in their first innings.

India A opening partnership of Ravikumar Samarth and Abhimanyu Easwaran gave a solid start to their team. They added 98 for the opening stand to hit the ground running. However, Ankit Bawne and skipper Karun Nair could only score 10 and 19 runs respectively.

The series also ends in a draw.

Meanwhile, Under-19 World Cup winning star Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar scored a good knock of 62 and 71 runs respectively. Both the right-handers put up an alliance of 124 runs for the sixth wicket. India’s gloveman Srikar Bharat scored run-a-ball 47 to help visitors post 323 in their innings.

New Zealand skipper Doug Bracewell and Lockie Ferguson scalped five and four wickets respectively. Subsequently, New Zealand A was able to take a lead in the first innings as they scored 398 runs.

Their wicketkeeper Cam Fletcher scored a fine hundred. Furthermore, Tim Seifert, Doug Bracewell and Kyle Jamieson contributed with fifties. Seifert scored a good knock of 86 runs whereas New Zealand A captain Doug Bracewell scored 55 runs. Thus, it was an all-around performance from the captain.

Krishnappa Gowtham was the pick of the Indian bowlers as the off-spinner scalped six wickets for 139 runs. However, there was no result as rain once again made its appearance. India A managed to score 38 runs after losing one wicket in the second dig.
