Virat Kohli-led team made an indelible mark in the T20I opener against New Zealand at the Eden Park in Auckland on Friday. The visitors defeated the hosts convincingly by six wickets with an over to spare. Now, the visitors currently lead the five-match T20I series 1-0.

Earlier, on the other day, New Zealand set a huge target of 204 with the help of Colin Munro, Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor’s half-centuries. However, India successfully chased the target on the back of KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer’s quickfire fifties.

So much so, Team India became the only side to have chased 200-plus target on eight occasions.
