Pakistan began the first of three-match T20I series against England with a loss. The defeat asked plenty of questions as it came after Pakistan posting a daunting target on board but England chased it down with ease. There was a moment in match when senior players gathered around Babar Azam to give him unsolicited advice.

According to media reports, Pakistan management has shown their concerns towards it and asked senior players against advising Babar Azam to put extra pressure on him. Shoaib Malik and Mohammed Hafeez are among the senior players in the Pakistan side.

As per a report in Cricket Pakistan, pressure increased on Babar due to ‘multiple captains’ in the side. The report also adds that senior players have been asked to avoid unnecessarily advising Babar on the filed.

It further claimed that the team management has also expressed concerns over wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who has been using Pashto language for bowlers from behind the stumps without consulting Babar.

As per sources, some senior Pakistan players in the side are playing for themselves and not the team as they are aware they can be dropped if the visitors lose the series.

Pakistan trail 0-1 in the the three-match series. They face England in the second match later today and will be a chance for them to level it.
