Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Khalil got married in Multan on Saturday. The left-arm pacer had only played six first-class matches when he was drafted into the Pakistani national team for the first time during the series against Bangladesh way back in 2003-04. The 35-year-old cricketer might not return to international cricket given his age. However, he did make a comeback to the Pakistan team after he performed well in the domestic circuit.
However, the pacer didn’t get an opportunity to represent the Playing XI for Pakistan and eventually made his Test debut against the No 1 side during that time Australia in 2004. He couldn’t get a single wicket in his first two first two Tests, and after that, he was dropped from the side. He gained a recall to the squad in the 2010-11 season after a good performance in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy replacing Junaid Khan during the tour of Bangladesh in 2011-12.
