At the end of day two play, it is Pakistan, who is on the right side of the things in Dubai in the first Test against Australia. The dominating batting display by Pakistani lineup handed a daunting task for Australia to achieve in their first innings of the match.

Haris Sohail completes his century:

After starting the day with three wickets, Pakistan lost their night watchman, Mohammed Abbas in the first half an hour of the play. However, Haris Sohail and Asad Shafiq kept the Australian bowlers at bay for the most of the day.

Both the youngsters kept Australians chasing the leather more often than not under the heat. They went on stitching a massive 158-run partnership for the 5th wicket before losing Asad Shafiq, who missed century by 20 runs.

As they say, one brings the two, the wicket of Shafiq brought Babar Azam’s as well. However, it was needed some brilliance from Labuschagne to find Babar Azam short of his crease while attempting a quick run.

Then, it was Nathan Lyon, who sent the centurion Haris Sohail back to the hut. Meanwhile, Sarfraz Ahmed‘s vows continued once again. He registered 15 to his name before being run out similarly, courtesy Aaron Finch.

Once Haris left the crease, it was a matter of the time for the Australians to wrap up the tail-enders. The hosts, Pakistan finished with a massive 482-run tally on the board. If not the run outs in the middle, it would have been even better for Pakistan.
