Of late, Finch is in tremendous form with his willow. Apart from the Indian Premier League (IPL), the right-handed batsman delivered the goods across the globe. He was also a storm to reckon in the recently-concluded tri-series.

Digging into Glenn Maxwell’s tweet, it read: ”So incredibly happy and proud for my good mate Aaron Finch’s call-upcall up to the test squad! Has been sensational this year and thoroughly deserves his opportunity!”

However, as Maxwell said, the call-up for Finch is a richly deserved one. He has been exceptional in the recent past and perhaps, he could do that David Warner’s job of yielding quick runs with the new ball.
