Pakistan vs Australia T20I: Twitter Reacts as Australia Cruise to Comfortable Win

Australia team was able to get the much-needed win, as they cruised to a nine-wicket triumph over Pakistan in the second T20I of the tri-series.

It was a crucial win for the Men in Yellow, as their confidence level has reached new lows in England. Thus, this win must have given them a shot in the arm.

Australia ticked the right boxes against the number one T20I team, Pakistan. The Aussies bowlers were able to set the win, as they skittled out the Men in Green for a paltry score of 116.

Billy Stanlake was the pick of the Australian bowlers, as he troubled the Pakistan batsmen throughout his spell.

A much-needed win for the Aussies.

The lanky fast bowler scalped four wickets and gave away only eight runs in his quota of four overs. Thus, the lanky fast bowler was able to put Pakistan behind the eight ball. Furthermore, Andrew Tye was also able to contribute with three wickets.

In fact, Australia’s fielding was up to the mark, as Aaron Finch took some catches in the slip in the initial stages of the Pakistan innings.

No Pakistan batsmen were able to get going, as they struggled to find them any impetus. Thus, it was a complete performance by the Australian team.

On the other hand, Australia cruise to the target in just under 11 overs. Australia’s skipper, Aaron Finch, was able to hit the ground running, as he scored a brisk 68 off 33 balls.

The combative right-hander took the attack on the opposition from the get-go. Finch scored four boundaries and half-a-dozen maximums in his blistering knock.

Thus, it was a complete performance from the Australian team, and it would have added to their confidence bag. Subsequently, Australia will next meet hosts Zimbabwe in the third T20I of the series.
