Rajasthan Royals (RR) will host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a mouth-watering IPL 2020 contest later in the day. The Jaipur franchise will come into the match at the back of a stunning win over KXIP and will be high on confidence. However, former India cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra pointed out at the weakness of their batting line-up.

Chopra said that the Rajasthan Royals batting line-up is weak as Rahul Tewatia, Robin Uthappa and Riyan Parag are not ideal for the No.4 to No.6 slots. His comments, interestingly, comes after Tewatia was promoted up the order in the previous match and he did the job for his side.

“Rajasthan Royals’ batting order is still looking slightly weak to me. Whatever you have done is brilliant, but Buttler along with Smith, Sanju at No.3 but then you are stuck at No.4,” Aakash Chopra said

“Rahul Tewatia, Robin Uthappa and Riyan Parag are not the ideal No.4 to No.6. So I feel there is definitely a scope of a change.”

After clinching a comprehensive win in their last outing, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 clash at the Dubai International Cricket stadium on Wednesday. KKR will be wary of the strength the Rajasthan outfit as they had shown brilliance in the chase in their last game.

Both opponents will be wary of their strength and weaknesses. While Jos Buttler returned to the side and added fire-power, he will look to get a hit for the side. The Rajasthan franchise will be banking on young talents like Sanju Samson, Rahul Tewatia after their prolific run in the previous game. The Steve Smith-led side will also expect Jofra Archer to pick up early wickets for the side.

KKR opener Shubman Gill batted brilliantly in the last game and would look to carry on his form in the next match. He was well supported by the England limited-overs captain Eoin Moragn who will again be the key in the match against Rajasthan Royals.
