The inevitable finally happened. MS Dhoni called time on what was a glorious international career, spanning 16 years. Three months after a rumour made rounds on Twitter, MS Dhoni did that for real on this occasion via his official Instagram handle. Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is one of the many from the cricketing fraternity, reacting to his retirement.

Ravindra Jadeja made his international debut under MS Dhoni in 2009 and also became the cricketer he is today under him. The Saurashtra all-rounder is one of the handiest limited-overs cricketers today and built his reputation as a terrific fielder too. One of Jadeja’s most memorable moments with Dhoni came in 2013 when India won the Champions Trophy. The left-arm spinner took 12 wickets in five games to end up as the top wicket-taker in the tournament.

Ravindra Jadeja took to his official Twitter handle and uploaded his few pictures along with the keeper-batsman, terming him as his mentor, elder brother, captain, and an absolute legend of the game. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni will appear for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the forthcoming season of the IPL in the UAE. Jadeja will also team up with him in a bid to secure their fourth IPL title.
