Basking in glory after becoming the first captain to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) four times, Mumbai Indians and India star Rohit Sharma is making the most of his current break. The right-handed batsman will be leaving for England in a week’s time for the upcoming World Cup and is using the leisure time to pull his teammates’ legs. Recently, he did the same with India and Mumbai teammate Ajinkya Rahane.

It all happened when Rahane took to Twitter to share some wise words with his followers. The right-handed batsman, known for his calm and composed nature, decided to post some information about his regular practice of going through his finances. Rahane said he evaluate his finances once every month and asked his followers to do the same.

“Once every month I spend some time to manage my finances and expenses. This type of practice is really fruitful when it comes to savings!#WednesdayWisdom,” wrote Rahane.

Upon seeing the tweet, Rohit could not help but post a cheeky reply in an attempt to have some fun at the expense of Rahane.
“Any changes in the Bkc club house menu ? #FinancesYaMenu,” wrote Rohit.

BKC stands for Bandra Kurla Complex. Well, Rohit’s reply sounds childish but it probably has a deep meaning if one can recall the turn of events last year. After being dropped from India’s limited-overs squad for the tour of UK last year, Rahane had publicly said that he would train at the Bandra Kurla Complex. Rahane is in a similar spot once again.

Team India is all set to fly out to England for the upcoming World Cup and Rahane is not a part of it. Perhaps Rohit tried to remind Rahane of that comment again with his tweet. Anyway, Rahane was quick to reply to Rohit as he tried his best to turn the tables on his teammate, writing:
Yes, it’s a menu card of mutual funds 🙂
