The preparations are in full flow as Team India gets ready to take on South Africa starting on Friday. Virat Kohli & Co were forced to practice indoors due to heavy rain outside. Rohit Sharma in a video put up on bcci.tv gave a glimpse into how India’s net sessions are conducted while he waits for his opportunity.

“You can see in net no. one there is Ajinkya Rahane, net no. 2 has (KL) Rahul and net no. three has Virat (Kohli),” Rohit said in the video.

He also points out the supports staffs who are helping out the batsmen. Fielding coach R Sridhar was at the bowling machine for Rahane while throw-down specialist Raghu was performing his job with KL Rahul. Kohli was practised by batting coach Sanjay Bangar and head coach Ravi Shastri.

Test opener Murali Vijay was spotted talking to bowling coach Bharat Arun in his batting gear.

“I’m sure Vijay is looking for some bowling tips there,” Rohit said before he started laughing.

India will play their first match in Cape Town and will be followed by two more Tests to be played in Centurion and Johannesburg respectively. This will be followed by a six-match ODI series and three-match T20 series.
