With adjectives literally falling short of describing Team India’s outstanding performance at Bidvest Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday (January 27) evening, the head coach Ravi Shastri of the Virat Kohli and Co has subsequently lauded the all-round effort with the ball in the third and final Test when India registered the 63-run win to avoid the looming whitewash.

However, the series concluded with 2-1 in the hosts’ favour.’

The 55-year-old Mumbai-based Shastri, who also enjoyed the broadcasting industry as a commentator termed the lads have fought hard to earn the famous win in away conditions.

“Has to be one of the most courageous and bravest and best overseas Test wins ever. God bless,” Shastri maintained in his tweet.

Shastri, who was the Team Director of the national side in 2015, joined the national duty after Anil Kumble tendered his resignation soon after the ICC Champions Trophy in England and Wales in June 2017.

Further, the tweet from the former cricket Shastri saw the team and staff members cherishing the victory in the change room after skipper termed the victory as ‘sweetest’ in the post-match presentation in Johannesburg on Saturday evening.
