Sachin Tendulkar wishes bold Bhuvneshwar Kumar on his 28th birthday

As prominent Indian fast bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is celebrating his 28th birthday on Monday (February 5), the wishes poured in as the cricket fraternity eventually took to the micro-blogging website Twitter – to congratulate the pace spearhead which further included a special message from the legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar himself.

Bhuvneshwar is being considered as one of the premium fast bowlers which further saw him delivering for Team India across formats and the death bowling specialist has further been spectacular in the short-paced competition.

“Wishing one of the most dependable performers in the Indian Cricket team, @BhuviOfficial, a very happy birthday!,” Tendulkar tweeted.

Recently, Bhuvneshwar had a decent Test series against South Africa which saw him bagging 11 wickets in two outings after missing the Centurion Test.

Moreover, handy with the bat, Bhuvneshwar scored 101 runs across four innings.

The 44-year-old Little Master Tendulkar, who has been an inspiration for many, has further praised the efforts the all-round efforts of Bhuvneshwar.

“Give him the ball and he will get wickets, give him the bat and he will contribute runs,” Mumbaikar stated in his tweet while uploading the photograph alongside Bhuvneshwar on his official Twitter handle.

Known for playing delightful strokes, Bhuvneshwar struck three fifties in the five-day format and a solitary fifty in the 50-over format.

The right-arm pacer Bhuvneshwar, who hails from Meerut, represented India in 83 One-day Internationals, 23 Twenty20 Internationals, and 21 Tests after making his international debut in December 2012 against arch-rivals Pakistan in Bengaluru.

Brilliant in the death overs and while donning the national colours, Bhuvneshwar bagged 90 wickets in 82 ODIs and 63 in 37 Test innings, however, across formats he bagged 174 scalps.

On the other side, Bhuvneshwar scored 552 runs in Test fold, 339 in ODIs and 18 in T20Is.
