Amidst all the tough circumstances,  Bangladesh hit with yet another blow for the upcoming Pink Ball Test against the Indian National Cricket Team at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. The youngster Saif Hassan had split his finger webbing while fielding for Bangladesh in the first Test game at Holkar Stadium as the 12th man.

Saif Hassan failed to get a place in the first Test with Shadman Islam and Imrul Kayes opening the innings for Bangladesh. However, he is in the frame of things for the second Test with Shadman Islam failing to perform in the first game. Now, the injury will see him stay away from the game once again which means that Shadman Islam will get the nod yet again.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board isn’t willing to bring a replacement for Saif Hassan with upcoming Test set to be the final match for Bangladesh of this tour. Most Probably, they would go with the same combination for the opening department while middle-order will see a few changes.

”Bangladesh opening batsman Saif Hassan has been ruled out of the second Test in Kolkata. Saif split his finger webbing while on 12th man fielding duty during the 1st Test. The injury hasn’t healed enough,” Cricbuzz tweeted.

Apart from that, there might be massive changes to the bowling department. They would possibly change their plan of 4-ball theory and would bring in an extra bowler to make things fall in place. As they ended up on the wrong side of things at Holkar, the upcoming game at Eden Gardens will be the opportunity for them to level the series.

The final game of the series is set to be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. It will also be the first Pink Ball Test match for India and Bangladesh. It would be interesting to see how Bangladesh will approach the game with everything at stake.
