Series between Australia and Pakistan set to take place despite change in PCB administration

Of late, Pakistan is highly being in the news for their politics. The former skipper Imran Khan has been elected at the prime minister of the country. Meanwhile, they are trying to bring a helluva of changes to the Pakistan Cricket Board.

They removed Najam Sethi and appointed Ehsan Mani, former ICC President, in the position instead. It is furtherly came to known that cricket in Pakistan is needed more cleansing to push Pakistan cricket way ahead.

Cricket Australia is keen to go ahead with the series:

Cricket Australia is always known for preparing well ahead when it comes to overseas tours for Australia and the same had been done with regard to the Pakistan series as well.

The series will be played in the UAE, which is Pakistan’s home venue ever since the country has been banned from hosting international cricket due to terrorist interventions.

Despite the changes in administration, Australia is keen on the Test series to go ahead. They are currently going through a lot of embarrassment after their tour to South Africa in 2018.

It was the same series where Smith, Warner, and Bancroft shocked the world with their ball-tampering antics, each of them being suspended as a result. Since then, Australia saw a complete decreasing bar in International cricket.

However, they want to make the most of the series against Pakistan later this year in October. After the conclusion in October, they will head back to their home to host Indians.

Schedule is yet to be announced:

Meanwhile, the schedule for the series is yet to be announced by either country. The dates for tickets are also yet to be declared. Despite all the circumstances, Cricket Australia are expecting to lock horns against Pakistan in October.

Currently, the Asian side is concentrating on upcoming Asia Cup while Australians have no schedule till November when they lock horns against South Africa in an ODI series. It will be followed by India series.
