Co-owner of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) franchise Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR), Shah Rukh Khan recently admitted that Windies legend Ian Bishop was his all-time favourite cricketer.

Meanwhile, TKR didn’t have a swashbuckling start to this edition of the league. They have lost two out of the three matches they have played so far. Led by Windies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo, they boast a strong side and are one of the contenders to lift the trophy.

They have the likes of Brendon McCullum, Chris Lynn, and Colin Munro on the batting fronts. On the bowling strides, they have the likes of Shanon Gabriel and Ali Khan. They also have some quality all-rounder to strike a balance in the squad.

Despite some early loss, they will look to make a strong comeback. Next, they take on St. Lucia Stars on August 16 (Thursday) at Gros Islet.

However, Ian Bishop, earlier today shared a string of photographs on Twitter of him with the legendary Bollywood actor. Bishop interviewed Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently in Windies to support his team.

Bishop showered heaps of praise on Shah Rukh, enlighting the human side of the actor.

Got the chance to meet King Khan tonight at the Hero Caribbean Premier League 2018 (Hero CPL). Such an aura about him, and yet a sense of humility,” Bishop tweeted.
