Shahid Kapoor Starts His Preparation For A Remake Movie Related To Cricket

Perhaps, the Bollywood stars are finding Telugu Scripts more interesting than the rest. Especially, Shahid Kapoor, who is making it a habit to remake Telugu films. Recently, he remade a picture of Telugu movie Arjun Reddy to Kabir Singh and now, he is after another remake of a Telugu movie, which will revolve around the game of cricket. The title of the movie in Telugu is ”Jersey”

For the same, the stylish actor has started his preparation, as he hits the net sessions with a cricketing coach. Shahid Kapoor is hitting the nets on a regular basis to ease into his role for the movie named ‘Jersey’. Recently, he shared the picture of him holding the bat on his Instagram.

After the massive success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor gave a lot of thought to his next project and then signed the remake of Jersey. It was a movie, which was acted by Nani in the south and had massive success at the Box Office.

Now, Shahid Kapoor, who is fresh after the hit of Kabir Singh, is pretty happy to get such a movie in his kitty. Shahid quoted that he had connected to the story personally, which made him go for the project. He believes that fans would like the movie, as it is an inspirational autobiography of a cricketer, who loved the game more than his life.

Talking about the film, Shahid told IANS, “It took me some time to decide what to do next after Kabir Singh. But the minute I saw Jersey, I knew I wanted it to be my next. It is a wonderful, inspiring and personal human journey that I connected with deeply.”

The movie will revolve around a person named Arjun, who left the game for unfortunate reasons. Later, at the age of 36 years, he will make a comeback to the game of cricket and the rest of his journey will form the story.
