The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has brought the world to a screeching halt. The Coronavirus has brought the majority of the nations to their knees, forcing the governments to announce lockdowns throughout the country. India’s Prime Minister also took a step towards it and ordered all the citizens to remain in the confines of their home for 21 days starting from the 25th of March. On the lighter side, it is interesting to know what the cricketers are up to during the isolation. Indian opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan shared an Instagram video of him performing household chores after spending a week at home.

In the wake of the rapid spread of the disease, BCCI called off all the sporting events for the time being. The men in blue, who were supposed to square off against South Africa in the three-match ODI series, resulted in the postponement. The Indian Premier League (IPL), initially planned to start from the 29th of March, got pushed to the 15th of April. Dhawan missed the limited-overs series in New Zealand but returned to the squad named to face the Proteas.
