When Aamir Khan and Shikhar Dhawan Decide to Catch-up!

India opener Shikhar Dhawan is in the form of his life, as he has scored 495 runs in the last ten limited-overs international matches.

The southpaw has been rock-solid at the top of the order and has given India some great starts in South Africa and during the ongoing T20 Nidahas Trophy involving Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

India had a successful tour of South Africa where the visitors had won both the ODI as well as the T20 series.

India was blessed the top order fired in the ODI and T20 series. Shikhar Dhawan finished as the second highest run scorer in the ODI series just behind Virat Kohli. Dhawan scored 323 runs in the six innings he played which included a hundred.

Dhawan then continued his good form in the ongoing tri-series and has scored 188 runs in the four matches have played.

The left-handed batsman is a hardcore follower of social media and interacts with his fans and expresses his views on it.

Dhawan wished Bollywood star Aamir Khan a day after his birthday on Twitter and also posted a picture with the Bollywood superstar. He wrote,

Happy birthday @aamir_khan bhai! Sorry for the late wishes, was busy with national duties. Hope you had a great day” 

Aamir Khan replied to the post and asked Dhawan to meet him the next time he comes to Mumbai and also offered to train with him. He wrote,

“Thank you so much @SDhawan25 . Next time you are in Mumbai, lets train together. Love a.”

Dhawan replied back and wrote,

“Yes, for sure Aamir bhai. Will get in touch with you next time I’m in Mumbai.”
