India women’s flamboyant power-hitter, Smriti Mandhana has named the toughest bowler she has ever faced. With all the cricketers being in isolation due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, it has given them time to interact with their fans through social media.

Smriti Mandhana also conducted a Q&A session on her Twitter account wherein she has made some interesting choices and revelations.

When asked by a fan as to who is the toughest bowler she ever faced, Smriti said, it was none other than South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp. Smriti tweeted, Has to be @kappie777 . Always hard to get runs against her”

Marizanne Kapp has been a legendary bowler for South Africa. In 108 ODIs, she has picked a total of 123 wickets while she has scalped a total of 58 wickets in the 78 T20Is that she has played.

Women Cricketers Join Hands To Combat COVID-19

India’s legendary women’s cricketer, Mithali Raj has joined the fight to eliminate the coronavirus pandemic from India by donating INR 10 Lakh. Out of the total sum of money, INR 5 Lakh will be donated towards the PM-Cares Fund and INR 5 lakh to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Talking about women cricketers, 16-year old, Richa Ghosh and India’s new find in the recently concluded ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Poonam Yadav have also donated money to fight coronavirus pandemic.
