Over the years, India has gifted world cricket some of the best cricketers in the world in all the aspects. Sourav Ganguly is one of the most significant examples, who was one of the bravest captains in the world. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, and at present, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have inspired youngsters to take up sport and become dedicated to it.
Speaking of Brazillian football players, the likes of Pele, Zico, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, and Marcello have made the nation one of the most formidable football teams. Brazil has won five World Cups in total in football. The Prince of Kolkata referred to the same, claiming that India always produces champion cricketers like Brazil cultivates champion footballers. The talent from both countries comes out of nowhere.
“When Tendulkar finished, Dravid finished, the great Virat Kohli came. India will always produce champion players and this team will always be strong. It’s like football in Brazil. You don’t know where talent comes from, but it comes.” Ganguly said as quoted by Times Now.

The current BCCI President further added that on a weekend when visited any cities, one can find kids and youngsters swing the bat or roll their arms. It gives Ganguly the confidence that the nation will always continue to dominate cricket no matter what.
“On a Saturday or Sunday, if you go to Bombay, Bangalore, Calcutta or Delhi, you will see those young kids travelling in cars or their parents’ scooters — all going to the field to play cricket. The passion for the sport among boys and girls make the sport so safe and so secured. We will always be a good team. We will always remain a strong cricketing country and we will continue to dominate world cricket” he stated further.
