Sourav Ganguly has been making waves as BCCI president. The former India skipper took charge of the board in October and has been working tirelessly to keep the players and fans happy. He was the one who convinced BCB to let their team play against India for a historic pink-ball affair, in what turned out to be the biggest hit. Meanwhile, the BCCI President has disclosed his choice to play his character in his biopic.

It is cognisance of the fact that a biopic is being made with legendary players and it has also become a trend in recent years. Bollywood actors have been expressing their interest to play the roles of the players and have also attaining stardom. Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra bagged several awards for her scintillating performance in Legendary boxer Mary Kom’s biopic ‘Mary Kom’.

Shifting the focus towards cricket, Sushant Singh Rajput gained fame as he played the role of one the best captains in the history of Indian cricket in MS Dhoni’s biopic- ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’. It should be noted that even World Cup-winning skipper Kapil Dev’s biopic ’83’ is set to be released in the new year. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is playing the role and his recent picture of him emulating Kapil Dev’s shot went viral on the internet.

There is a distinct possibility that the movie could also be created with Dada. However, it will be quite interesting to see which actor will play the role. Sourav disclosed which actor he wants to see in his own biopic. During a talk show recently, he said, “My favourite actor is Hrithik Roshan. He is most dear to me. I want him to act in my role.”
