The former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly has always received high accolades from every cricketing individual for his service to the Indian Cricket. Now, Ganguly set to become BCCI President following his stint for his state association. Meanwhile, he receives best wishes from his former teammate and dear friend, Sachin Tendulkar.

The legendary Batsman of India Sachin Tendulkar conveyed his best wishes to the former skipper of India. Sachin quoted that he got a strong belief on Sourav Ganguly. Further, he believes that Sourav Ganguly can do the job for the country with the same passion he used to show while playing for the country.

“The way he has played his cricket and the way he has gone put and served the nation, I am sure he will continue to serve the nation in the same capacity and with the same passion…,” Tendulkar said on the sidelines of the Road Safety World Series.

We are good friends off the field –

Well, speaking regarding the event, Sachin Tendulkar is pretty happy to join his former opponents once again on the field. He wants to continue the rivalry again and wants to relive all the stuff he used to have during his playing days for the country.

“I will practice and all these cricketers are geared up and we shot a film yesterday, so everyone is charged up and it is a good feeling to be back on the field again after a long time. Whenever you walk on the field the feeling is different. Something that we will look to relive our rivalries on the field,” Sachin Tendulkar said.

”You must have picked we are good friends off the field — we might be pushing each other on the field and competing really hard but off the field, we are good friends and that is what matters…”

Further, Sachin Tendulkar added that he listens to the vibrations of fans chanting Sachin Sachin whenever he plays in the middle for his country. He would love to hear it once again as a player.

 “I had said that (Sachin-Sachin chant) would reverberate as long as I breathe, so here is another opportunity for me to experience that again, though during IPL and all that they (fans) have been kind enough to acknowledge and appreciate whenever I have walked on field, they have shown their affection… and that is what I have prayed that this love and affection should continue as long as I breathe…”

All in all, it is going to be an interesting tournament, which will be played in February. The legendary cricketers across the globe would love to relive the game again.
