Well, it was one of those embarrassing days for Shaun Pollock at the office. In a live TV coverage, Shaun Pollock ripped his pants while involving with Graeme Smith in the on-field catching. The incident tickled the funnier bones of the people present there while Shaun Pollock was the only person, who was having an awkward time out there.

The incident happened during the lunch break at Centurion on day three of the first Test between South Africa and Pakistan.  Pollock was standing alongside another former national captain in Graeme Smith while SuperSport anchor Mark Nicholas was questioning them on the difficulties in catching at slip cordon.

During the course, unfortunately for Pollock, he got a little too low down trying to take one of the catches. But, when he stood back up, he did so with a realisation that he had cut the back of his pants.

Meanwhile, reacting to the same, Shaun Pollock, in his Twitter account thanked South Africa’s dressing room for a change of his pants. He also ensured that he won’t be taking any slip catches with his suit pants never again.

Meanwhile, South Africa emerged out with a convincing 6-wicket victory to take the lead in the series. Duanne Olivier was the man of the match for his brilliant 11 wickets in the match. For Pakistan, their inability in the batting section was pretty evident once again.

Hashim Amla finally got among the runs while Mohammad Amir was the positive point for Pakistan. Now, both the sides will move to Cape Town to play the second Test of the series on January 3rd.
