It has been a brilliant return for South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn. The flamboyant fast bowler has delivered the goods incredibly well after return to the profession cricket from a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, he showed his brilliant sarcasm to a Pakistan supporter, who tried to take a dig at Dale Steyn.

Dale Steyn, who is an active social media user, posted a tweet, asking who am I? Further, Steyn added that he is having the most of his rest period as well. Meanwhile, one of the Pakistani fans tried to troll the fast bowler, instead, ended up on the receiving end.

Digging into the tweets, initially, Steyn quoted ”Okay that’s enough from me. Watching this Test from the comfort of my couch, did I just become an armchair critic?” To which fan replied ”You sure need some comfort after that spanking by Babar Azam in the Test series.”

Perhaps, the fan of Pakistan hasn’t expected a reply from the fast bowler. Dale Steyn, in response to the tweet, tweeted that the result in the Test series will tell the story.

His reply read ”Yes, 3-0 in the test series is a proper spanking.”

Meanwhile, a lot of cricket fans praised Dale Steyn for his reply on Twitter while on the other side, South Africa defeated Pakistan in the first T20I yesterday and the two teams will clash in the 2nd game of the three-match series tomorrow.

As far as the remaining two formats of the game are concerned, South Africa convincingly thrashed Pakistan to collect both the trophies. One more win in the next couple of T20I games will see Pakistan walk back home with empty hands.

Recently, Dale Steyn bagged the wicket of Fakhar Zaman to leapfrog the glorious feat of 421 wickets set by Shaun Pollack. Ironically, Pollack was in the commentary panel giving his voice while Steyn became the leading wicket-taker for Proteas.
