South Africa vs Zimbabwe 2018 has been the series for the bowlers. Not even once the scorecard reached the 300-mark figure in the series, which suggests how cruel it has been for the batsmen. The effect has clearly shown on the ICC rankings, as bowlers are the top gainers. Off all, Imran Tahir and Kagiso Rabada are the significant gainers.

Speaking of the batsmen, it was Aiden Markram, who leapt 14 places to settle at 115. He topped the scorers’ chart with 104 runs in three games by scoring 27, 35 and 42, respectively.

Sean Williams equals Suresh Raina in ICC Rankings for a batsman –

Henrich Klaasen is the other batsman to top the batting chart alongside Aiden Markram with the same 104-run tally. He also gained 47 points to move to 118. Surprisingly, both of them got the career-high ratings.

Coming to the visitors’ team, Sean Williams has been the best batsman for Zimbabwe with 82 runs in his kitty. He gained eight spots to be joint with India’s Suresh Raina at No. 78. On the other hand, Hamilton Masakadza secured 64th position.

Imran Tahir secures Seventh while Kagiso Rabada stays at sixth –

Meanwhile, in the bowlers’ section, it was Imran Tahir and Kagiso Rabada, who are placed firmly in the Top ten chart. Imran Tahir, who finished with ten wickets to receive Man of the series, also gained three places in the ICC rankings.

The leg-spinner ranked at the seventh position in the rankings’ chart. Meanwhile, the raw pacer, Kagiso Rabada strengthened himself to stay at the sixth position to stay one place ahead of Imran Tahir.

All in all, it has been a brilliant series for Imran Tahir, who showed his class to the world. Meanwhile, the series also saw a solid comeback for Dale Steyn in the limited-overs format as well.
