Suresh Raina Congratulates Rahul Dravid On Getting ICC Hall of Fame

Indian middle-order batsman Suresh Raina sent his congratulatory message to former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid for getting the ICC hall of fame. Raina shares a great bonhomie with Rahul Dravid and even played under Dravid’s captaincy.

Meanwhile, Rahul Dravid became the fifth Indian player to be inducted in the ICC Hall of Fame. The Wall joined the likes of Kapil Dev, Bishan Singh Bedi, Sunil Gavaskar and Anil Kumble. Thus, the former right-hander was able to break into the elite list of players.

Rahul Dravid was one of the best Test batsmen.

However, Rahul Dravid was not present physically when ICC honored him. Dravid is currently with the India A team on the tour of England.

Meanwhile, Rahul Dravid was the ICC Cricketer of the year in 2004. Furthermore, he was the ICC Test cricketer in the same year.

Dravid made his Test debut along with Sourav Ganguly. He was able to show his promise in the very first innings when he scored a fine 95 on his Test debut against England. One of the defining moments in Dravid’s career came in 2001 against Australia when he was involved in a gargantuan partnership with VVS Laxman in the famous Kolkata Test.

In fact, Dravid achieved great heights in his Test career as he gathered 13,288 runs in red ball version. Moreover, he was able to improve as a limited-overs batsman as he went on to score 10,889 runs in the 50-overs format.
