Young Indian cricketers- Shreyas Iyer, all-rounder Shivam Dube and pacer Shardul Thakur don’t shy away from playing non-stop and fearless brand of cricket. They all were with Team India in Nagpur for T20I series against Bangladesh till 12 am. Today, they have been included in 18-member Mumbai squad for the last four league matches of the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy tournament.

The trio was on national duty for the just-concluded series against Bangladesh. In the T20I decider at Nagpur held on Sunday (November 10), Shreyas Iyer and Shivam Dube played an instrumental role in the team’s success. Iyer smacked 5 whopping sixes and 3 fours to his 33-ball 62 while Dube showcased his mettle with the ball as he took three wickets to his name.

Mumbai are now unbeaten in the premier domestic T20 tournament, having got the better of Mizoram, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh respectively. The team will be continued to be led by the Suryakumar Yadav. The latter has been in superb form throughout the tournament and if he keeps performing like this consistently, then the selectors might open the door for him.

Washington Sundar joined Tamil Nadu after India duty:

It is also worth mentioning here that India off-spinner Washington Sundar has also joined his state team Tamil Nadu soon after completing national duty against Bangladesh.

The all-rounder was featured in the match against Bangladesh. He might not have taken a wicket but was sharp and electric in the field as he took a good catch to dismiss Liton Das off Deepak Chahar’s bowling. Team India beat Bangladesh by 30 runs and won the series 2-1.
