After losing their first two matches of T20I tri-series, Zimbabwe have their backs against the wall.

Thus, the hosts will face Pakistan in a do or die situation on Wednesday. Hamilton Maskadza will have to lift some dropping shoulders in his dressing after two crushing defeats.

First, the hosts lost by a margin of 74 runs, and then they were obliterated by Australia by 100 runs. Therefore, they need to find their confidence back. The hosts will be relying on the shoulders of their skipper Hamilton Masakadza to come good.

Zimbabwe is in a must-win situation.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will also look to get back to winning ways after facing a big loss at the hands of Australia.

Consequently, the Men in Green will look to repeat their first match performance against the depleted Zimbabwean side.

The World number one side will know that a win in today’s match will take them closer to the finals of the series. However, an upset on Wednesday can catch them in troubled waters.

On the other hand, Zimbabwe would be better setting up a target rather than chasing it. In the first two matches, they have won the toss and decided to put their opponents into bat.

Thus, they must keep themselves away from the pressure of chasing a target. Meanwhile, Pakistan bowling line-up is always their stronger arm, and they would look to exploit the host’s vulnerabilities.
