The discarded Pakistan cricketer, Mohammad Asif and his family members met with a road accident in Lahore. Thankfully, all of them have escaped the danger with minor injuries to their head. However, CT scans have been recommended for all the family members to be in a safe place. According to details, pacer’s car crashed into a footpath due to over-speeding. The 35-year-old, his wife and two daughters sustained minor injuries. It is learnt an over-speeding vehicle has gone past Asif’s car, which made him lose control and hit the footpath.
Asif, family safe after the accident
The accident took place in Lahore’s Defence area at around 02:45 am. Asif, to the media, quoted he has to crash his car to the footpath to escape any major accident.
Asif and his family members received minor head injuries. They were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for CT scans, reported a local media house.
Meanwhile, it was an unfortunate incident for the former Pakistan fast bowler. However, they would consider themselves lucky, as they escaped with minor injuries.

However, Mohammad Asif has been banned from the game of cricket for a certain period, after his involvement in the spot-fixing case. He got involved in a spot-fixing alongside Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt.
Moreover, Mohammad Amir has been recalled back, as he was minor at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, Asif and Butt have completed their ban period, but they were not picked by any Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise or in a national side. However, they both represent WAPDA in domestic cricket.
