Sri Lanka legend Muttiah Muralitharan weaved magic with his spin. He is the most wicket-taker in international cricket with 1347 wickets, which includes 800 in Tests and 534 in ODIs. He was also a part of the Sri Lankan World Cup winning team in 1996 but could never captain his side. Incidentally, Muralitharan is the cricketer who has played the fifth in list of Test cricketers who have played the most matches — 133 — but never captained his side.
