With Team India in South Africa for the bilateral series which is comprised of three Tests, six One-day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals, the visiting skipper Virat Kohli, who recently tied knot with Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma at Milan in Italy, is bound to get the top quality arrangements on the African continent, according the interim Proteas CEO Thabang Moroe.

“Anything that we can do to make the trip a special one for the newlyweds, we will try our best to make it happen,” Moroe was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle.

Referred as the special arrangements to be made available in Rainbow Nation, Moroe remarked they are supposed to provide best of the services to their guests in a bid to make it memorable for the couple.

It is pertinent to mention the newlyweds Kohli and Anushka flew to South Africa after the culmination of the private wedding ceremony on December 11 which further saw them throwing the grand wedding reception party in Delhi and then Mumbai in the last week of December.

“I would like to believe that we are treating them with the same special care that we give to all our visitors,” Moroe said on Kohli and Anushka’s appearance in South Arica.

Moreover, Anushka, who has accompanied Kohli to celebrate on the New Year ’s Eve, as the tongue-in-cheek comment further saw Moroe is hopeful to provide the world-class arrangements to the batsman while considering the 29-year-old Kohli would show some soft corner.

“Giving him [Virat] world-class hospitality should help soften him up for our bowlers to be able to put him away very quickly in the matches to come,” Moroe maintained.

Following the burgeoning success across formats and went on to play a significant role for his national side, Kohli was hailed by Moroe for his remarkable run in the gentleman’s game which further saw the former leading his side successfully in the home conditions.

“Virat is a world beater, a very dominant batsman,” Moroe said on batting mainstay Kohli.

Moroe reiterated they are happy to receive the couple while adding both South Africa and India have had shared the cordial relations in the past on the cricket field apart from the political background.

“We are very happy to host the couple. Just as we are the BCCI family. These two countries have shared special relations in the past both politically and on the sporting fields,” Moroe added.

Talking about the hospitality of his country, Moroe stated they would deliver their best to maintain the integrity which further saw the visitors started off their preparation at the Western Province Cricket Club which is in the vicinity of the Newlands Stadium.

“As South Africans, we are very well known for our friendliness and hospitality and I’m pretty confident they would agree too,” Moroe concluded.

With the visitors working hard in the nets to acclimatize the conditions, they will face off Faf du Plessis-led South Africa in the series opener with the first Test beginning on September 5 in at Newlands in Cape Town.
