Former West Indies fast-bowler Tino Best has reignited his feud with England pacer Jofra Archer on Twitter. Both of them were engaged in a heated conversation on the social media platform after the end of day 3 of the first Test between England and West Indies.

Tino Best once again started it all as he raised questions on Archer’s selection over veteran Stuart Broad in England’s playing XI for the first Test vs West Indies. Broad was a surprising omission from England’s playing eleven and the bowler himself made it clear that he was not at all pleased with the decision.

Archer, meanwhile, failed to make a mark in favourable bowling conditions as he went wicketless in his 22 overs. Ben Stokes was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts, picking up 4 as West Indies scored 318 in reply to England’s first innings total of 204.

Following the day’s play, Tino Best took to Twitter to taunt Archer once again. Pointing to Archer’s normal bowling speed, he wrote:

“Honestly why Archer playing before Broad chaaaaa fair is fair tho, cause u have Wood bowling 90+ , And he’s bowling the same pace as Broad , I have no problem with Broad being pissed Face with look of triumph #EngVsWI ….. that’s not fair at all “

The former Windies pacer’s comments did not go down well with his compatriot Archer, who plays for England. The Barbados-born fast bowler reacted to Tino Best’s tweet by writing:

“With all this knowledge how are you not a coach yet ?”

Tino Best was not done yet as he hit back at the right-arm pacer once again, writing:

“Don’t address me personally Young man, the fact remains your bowling toothpaste and u haven’t bowled Quickly since ASHES, now go sleep and get some rest for WI to beat ya ball in the second innings bye ?? Jorfa ?? #SleepTight.”

This is not the first time, both of them have been involved in such a spat on Twitter. Last year too, Tino Best had taken a dig at Archer after his poor performance during England’s 1-0 defeat in Test series in New Zealand.
