All the cricketing individuals would love to have at least one International century to their name, as it is a pride feeling to score for the country at the highest level. 10. Bangladesh – 59 centuries

The Bangladeshi tigers have been emerging as a stern cricketing team. Players like Tamim Iqbal, Shakib-al-Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and others have managed things decently well for them in the recent past and the team is likely to prosper much in the near future.

They raised their bar by bringing a lot of changes to their cricketing culture. In total, they smashed 59 Centuries to take 10th position in the chart.

9. Zimbabwe – 61 Centuries

Yeah, Zimbabwe are on the top of Bangladesh. However, the margin is just a couple of centuries. Zimbabwe was regarded as a healthy batting line up in the late 90s with the presence of batting talents in the likes of the Flower Brothers, Alastair Campbell and others.

They have proved their point by knocking it for the team during the crunch times. They’ve managed just 61 centuries in the longest version of the game.

8. Sri Lanka – 269 centuries

The Asian team has produced many magical batsmen to the world cricket across the formats. but it is a bit surprising to see them on 8th position. With the possession of some demolishing and equally crafty batsmen in the likes of Jayasuriya, Atapattu, Sangakkara, Jayawardene and many, the Sri Lankan batsmen have struck 269 centuries.

7. New Zealand – 304 centuries

The Kiwis have been improving their batting instinct since the past few decades. They did possess some beautiful blends of aggression and class in the game. Players like Nathan Astle, Chris Cairns, Craig McMillan, Stephen Fleming in the earlier era followed by the sheer class of McCullum, Taylor, Williamson at present, New Zealand has been a strong batting side. They are placed 7th on the chart with 304 centuries.

6. South Africa – 381 Centuries

Well, South Africa has always produced great entertainment to the fans with their stunning cricket. When it comes to batting in Tests, one cannot simply sideline the Proteas. They have remained one of the most consistent sides in Test cricket but sadly, did not get the opportunity to taste the peaks of success.

The likes of Graeme Smith, AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla and now, Faf du Plessis, Quinton de Kock, South Africa always got formidable lineup. They managed to smash 381 centuries.

5. Pakistan – 400 centuries

The Pakistani squad has possessed a number of quality batsmen throughout the years. There have been the likes of Inzamam-ul-Haq, Younis Khan, Saeed Anwar, Javed Miandad and others who have amplified the strength of the Pakistani batting for the past couple of decades.  Cricketing giant Pakistan finds themselves in the 5th spot as they have amassed over 400 centuries.

4. West Indies – 489 Centuries

The Caribbean side lacked no talent in their batting. In fact, they have produced the majestic display of entertaining batting. With the possession of glooming talents in the likes of Sir Viv Richards, Brain Charles Lara, Christopher Henry Gayle and Shiv Chanderpaul, West Indies always released a superstar from their side.

The West Indies unit has managed to score as many as 489 tons. They were once considered the team to beat in the 1970s and ’80s but they are not the same squad invincible any more.

Well, it was much expected that India would be in the top three of this list. Due of the possession of some bombarding talents in the game in the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Sunil Gavaskar, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and many, Indian fans have witnessed as many as 518 centuries in Test cricket.

India has the second-best batting average overall and has 518 individual centuries despite playing not many matches. The cricketing powerhouse has produced some unmatched legends to the world.

2. Australia – 861 Centuries

The Aussies have possessed plenty of demolishing talents in the game who have dominated with their killing instincts and they possessed batsmen who could change the prospects of the game in a matter of few overs.

Among them, names have got to be mentioned of Allan Border, Ricky Ponting, Mathew Hayden, Damien Martyn, Michael Clarke and Adam Gilchrist. Ponting leads the chart for them by crafting memorable knocks for the team on a consistent basis. Australia has the highest batting average in the list and the second-highest number of individual centuries. They smashed 861 centuries.

1. England – 877 Centuries

Well, the toppers of the chart are the inventors of the game. They always delivered top-class players to the cricketing fraternity and always showed the way to play the game in the longer version of the game. The presence of batsmen in the likes of Trescothick, Strauss, Pietersen, Flintoff, Collingwood, Cook and others, England always had a beautiful lineup in the Test format.

Though they were not that successful in ODI format, they have been sensational in Test matches. However, of late, they are showing their class across the formats. Meanwhile, they top the chart with 877 Centuries.
