In the One-off Test between England and Ireland, the Irish bowler Tim Murtagh had claimed a five-wicket haul at historic Lord’s on Wednesday.

The 37-year-old starred with the ball as hosts were skittled at 85 in 23.4 overs.

Murtagh had conceded 13 runs in his quota of nine overs. Besides, he became the first Irish bowler to clinch the five-wicket haul.

The new rule has come into play after a collective survey from players, coaches and broadcasters.

The ninth edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) has been shortened to 42 days. Earlier, the T20 league spread over 54 days.

The ace speedster from Pakistan, Shoaib Akhtar had suggested that Sarfaraz Ahmed should be removed from the captaincy post across formats.

The Rawalpindi Express has suggested that Haris Sohail should be made the captain of limited-overs format.

Moreover, he wants Babar Azam to lead Pakistan in the multi-day format.

Jonty Rhodes Applies for India’s Fielding Coach: Report

The veteran cricketer from South Africa Jonty Rhodes had reportedly filed a nomination for India’s fielding coach.

Earlier, the BCCI had asked for the fresh applications for the head coach and the supporting staff role.
