Veteran Pakistan batsman Javed Miandad has voiced his opinion for the introduction of local coaches at the highest level.
The 62-year-old Miandad believes cricketers like Wasim Akram would benefit Pakistan while considering the future of its cricket.

Miandad also stressed that Pakistan needs trainers not coach in the top-flight set-up. He further addressed the flight of coaches who’re yet to have access to digital methodologies, which has become a norm in foreign countries.
The star batsman in his heydays further pointed out that the local coaches should not be pushed to work under foreign professional coaches at the highest level.
Brian Lara Predicts Ashes 2019 Winner; Picks Leading Run-Getter:

Windies legend Brian Lara has picked hosts England as favourites to win the ongoing Ashes 2019 title. Lara also predicted that the Three Lions skipper Joe Root will top the run charts.

Former County cricketer Steffan Jones had applied as a bowling coach for Team India. The 45-year-old had joined Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals (RR) as a bowling coach in the twelfth edition of the T20 league in 2019.
Jones had featured in 148 first-class games in which he had snared 387 wickets at an average of 36.87.
The BCCI will conduct interviews in this month after giving an extension of 45 days to head coach Ravi Shastri and support staff as well.
