Team India produced another clinical effort to rout Bangladesh by an innings and 130 runs to take 1-0 lead in the two-match series in Indore. As a result, the host strengthened their lead at the top of the ICC World Test Championship winning all their six games so far.

Virat Kohli decided to declare the innings at the start of day three with a first-innings lead of 243 runs. Bangladesh struggle with the bat continued as the openers failed to provide any resistance against India’s new-ball bowlers. Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma were on money reducing Bangladesh to 16 for two before Shami joined the party.
The Bengal pacer scalped three wickets to have the visitors at 77 for five before the Bangla Tigers started to resist with Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das taking an attack to the opposition. Liton was the attacker but his ploy didn’t last long as Ravichandran Ashwin took the honours.

Mushfiqur Rahim had to battle out lonely playing a 64-run knock before Ashwin broke his defence. It was only about time since India take home the glory and Mohammed Shami and Ashwin finished off the proceedings in style with two days more in hand.
Previously, India had posted 493 runs for the loss of six wickets before declaring in reply to Bangladesh’s 150 in the first innings. Mayank Agarwal scored a fine double century along with half-centuries from Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane to help the host take a massive lead.

An innings win! @imVkohli breaks another record as captain! Most innings wins as Test captain is a great achievement. What a fantastic team effort by #TeamIndia. #INDvBAN

Bangladesh keeled over disappointingly on an excellent pitch, lack of experience and will to fight coming through. Not to take any credit from India tho: magnificent in batting and bowling. Shabash @imVkohli & Co!?

Virat Kohli has now won more Tests by innings margin than any other Indian captain – 10 now in 52 Tests. Dhoni had 9 such wins in 60 Tests. #INDvBAN

Is Indian fast bowling the best in the world?
The fast bowling trio of Ishant, Shami & Umesh Yadav.
Jasprit Bumrah will be a certainty in the playing XI whenever he’s fit. Bhuvneshwar is quality seamer!
India were never blessed with so many quality pacers in Tests ever #INDvBAN— Sarang Bhalerao (@bhaleraosarang) November 16, 2019
Another strong performance by @BCCI #INDvBAN No runs from Kohli or Rohit yet very powerful… Congratulations ???

Delightful interview of India's pacers at the the end of #INDvBAN.
"They don't treat me like a senior at all" – a smiling Ishant Sharma with Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav.
His only concession to 'seniority' is: "The body's feeling a little old after bowling so many overs."

Mushfiqur has been so impressive, playing a lone hand against the marauding Indian attack.

It is no longer a surprise that @MdShami11 bowls outstandingly in second innings, more so in Indian conditions. What is surprising to me is that a Test match finish inside 3 day and spinners are not able to take a total of five wicket! #Shami #INDvBAN pic.twitter.com/y6By14K6Ht
