Twitter Explodes As Kevin Pietersen Posts Photo Of Making Up With Matt Prior
The Twitter exploded on Thursday when former England batsmen Kevin Pietersen and Matt Prior exchanged pleasantries on the social media platform. While Kevin Pietersen is one of the best batsmen to have played for England, his England career was full of controversies thanks to his poor relation with some of his teammates and one of them was Matt Prior.
The former England batsman played 104 Tests before being dropped from the team after a disastrous 5-0 Ashes series defeat to Australia Down Under in 2013/14. Kevin Pietersen was his team’s leading run-scorer on that tour but was made the scapegoat. He did not earn another recall from England and eventually retired from all forms of the game in 2018.

Coming to the feud with his England teammates, Kevin Pietersen accused the Prior of bullying and becoming too big for his boots. In his autobiography, Pietersen wrote of their falling out: “It was a sad time … I had been friends with Cheese (Prior). Now he was slowly losing any sense of himself as he turned up the volume and made himself the main man of the dressing room.”
Not only that, the legendary batsman also said the ex-wicketkeeper was a “massive negative influence” on the team and accused him, along with bowlers Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann, of forming a clique that intimidated less experienced teammates.
However, all the past controversies and bad blood between the two took the back seat when they came face to face in Port Elizabeth where England and South Africa are playing the third Test. Both the former cricketers on commentating duties and decided to use the opportunity to burn the hatchet between themselves. Later, both the cricketers took to Twitter to share a picture of their meeting and recalled the fond memories.

Former teammate react:
Well, Kevin Pietersen and Matt Prior spending good time together not only left the fans surprised but also their former teammates. The likes of Andrew Flintoff and Ashely Giles could not help but express their surprise when they saw the tweets from Pietersen and Prior.
