India’s win over Australia in the opening game of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup has sent the fans into a frenzy.
Stepping in the game, Indian ladies were the underdogs, but a match-defying spell by Poonam Yadav turned the tables as the Women In Blue beat the current world champions by 19 runs in the opening game at Sydney.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side sent the entire Australian batting line up to the pavilion and avenged their recent loss in the Tri-Series final.
