One was them beating Papua New Guinea, and the other one was the Netherlands beating the Hong Kong and fortunately both results went in favour of Nepal.

Nepal won the match against Papua New Guinea by six wickets in a run chase of 115 runs. Meanwhile, Hong Kong failed to chase 175 runs against Netherlands which helped Nepal gain the ODI status.
