Twitter Shows Pity on KL Rahul after Bollywood Actress Calls him 'Bro'

Indian batsman KL Rahul was trolled after a Bollywood actress, Nidhi Agarwal called him Bro.

Thus, Twitter trolled the flamboyant batsman as he got dismissed without troubling the scorers in the second One-Day International.

In fact, fans related the reason behind Rahul’s poor performance to the fact that Nidhi Agarwal called him Bro. Meanwhile, there were link-up rumours between the dual, as both were spotted while going for dinner in Mumbai.

However, the actress cleared the air, as she said she is the childhood friend of India’s batsman.

KL Rahul will like to make the most of his form.

“I and Rahul go back a long way. We have known each other since our teenage years before Rahul became a cricketer and I became an actress. Though we did not go to the same college in Bangalore, we have known each other for long,” Nidhi said in a statement.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul is currently part of India’s limited-overs squad. Rahul had smashed a fine century in the first T20I against England to help take India over the line.

However, the stylish Karnataka batsman is unable to continue with his good form. Rahul will like to come up with a good performance in the decider of the ODI series which will take place at Headingley on Tuesday.

In fact, he was the third leading run-getter in the Indian Premier League. The Kings XI Punjab opener had scored 659 runs in the 14 matches he played in the league.

Furthermore, Rahul is likely to make the cut into the Indian Test squad. Thus, Rahul will like to make the most of his good form with the bat to cement his place in the team.
