Twitterati Troll Salman Butt After He Criticises Jofra Archer For Protocol Breach

Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has become the butt of all jokes on Twitter after criticising England pacer Jofra Archer’s protocol breach. The England pacer is facing criticism from all around after breaching the team’s bio-secure protocol by returning to his home following the First Test against West Indies.
As per the protocols, the players and staff are supposed to only stop at the designated stations during their travels. While all other members of the team followed the rules, Jofra Archer did not. He reportedly went to his home in Sussex. Just few hours before the start of the second Test in Manchester, the ECB confirmed that the allrounder has been dropped from the team for the game.
Unsurprisingly, he is facing the heat for his actions. ECB’s Director of Cricket Ashley Giles said Archer’s breach of the bio-secure protocols could have been a “disaster” for England’s summer. He said that the allrounder’s action could have cost the board tens of millions of pounds. The Barbados-born pacer was later fined and given a warning for his behaviour.
Fans roast Salman Butt:
With the cricket fraternity criticising Archer, Salman Butt also joined the bandwagon. The former Pakistan batsman slammed the England pacer for his action. Speaking on his YouTube Channel, Salman Butt said that Archer should not have broken the rules.
However, his comments did not impress few cricket fans and they took to Twitter to troll him. The fans could not digest the fact that Salman Butt, who was involved in the infamous spot-fixing scandal during the tour of England in 2010, was asking Archer not to break rules. Butt had to serve a five-year ban before he returned to competitive cricket in 2016.
