Batsman Umar Akmal, who was suspended by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU), is learnt to have confessed to having a meeting with a bookie.
As per Geo.tv, the sources claimed that over-looked Pakistan batsman Umar admitted that he met a bookie and received an offer from him during a private gathering.

The PCB’s ACU asked him why he did not inform the governing body about his meeting and Umar could not give a satisfactory answer. It has been learnt that the ACU came to know about Umar’s activities through mobile recording.
