A six-year-old, Eli Mikal Khan of Pakistan’s Quetta is in the limelight, as the leg-spinner has been called the carbon copy of Shane Warne. Meanwhile, the Australia legend is also surprised to watch the rookie spin the ball and thus has been left impressed.
Warny impressed with the rookie!
Shane Warne, who in his prime had the batsmen taste failures, was awestruck to see this young kid turning the ball. Moreover, in a viral video, Eli shows the same kind of deliveries pouring on a cemented pitchlike Warne used to do. He delivered the flipper, googly, slider, and the leg break as well. However, Eli’s runup and action are precisely like Warne, and also the balls are taking a turn after eating the stage.
Meanwhile, Eli’s father, Abdullah is seen teaching the spin bowling to his son. According to him, Eli had an affair with cricket since his childhood, but he is learning leg spin from the last six months. Furthermore, computer engineer Abdullah is not only teaching Eli’s to the other children but also other children in his academy present in Quetta. Looking at the video, Shane Warne commented,
‘Very spectacular. I am very impressed with the beauty of the ball coming out of your hand at the age of six years. very nice. Keep doing well.’
