Following a banter on Twitter between former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer and former English captain Michael Vaughan during the first T20I between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, a video of Vaughan dismissing Jaffer in a Test match is doing the rounds on social media.

The hilarious exchange between Jaffer and Vaughan starter when the latter took to his Twitter account where he wrote that the current IPL champions Mumbai Indians is a better T20 outfit than the Indian Cricket Team.

“The @mipaltan are a better T20 team than @BCCI !!! #JustSaying #INDvENG” wrote Michael Vaughan.

Jaffer, who has created a cult of himself on Twitter thanks to his hilarious memes, responded by taking a sharp dig at the fact most of the cricketers in the England team are non-English.

Jaffer wrote that not all teams have the luxury of playing four overseas players.

“Not all teams are lucky enough to play four overseas players Michael? #INDvENG”

Michael Vaughan responded by asking whether Jaffer had still not recovered from the fact that he had dismissed the former opener at Lord’s.

“Have you still not recovered from me getting you out at Lords !?? asked Vaughan.

The dismissal that Vaughan was referring to is from the 2002 Lord’s Test between India and England.

Jaffer, who had stroked a half-century in the second innings (53) fell to part-timer Michael Vaughan after he offered a simple catch to the slip cordon.

Following the exchange, cricket archivist Rob Moody took to his Twitter account to upload the video of the same.
