Meanwhile, in the 4th ball of the 11th over of the first innings when Australia were at 34/2, the Australian Test vice-captain Steve Smith expressed disappointment at the movement of the buggy camera, which had distracted him, and the frustrated Australian batter instantly told umpires to move the buggy camera out of his vision. Earlier, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first in the 3rd Test, Usman Khawaja and David Warner opened the innings for Australia and Shaheen Shah Afridi opened the attack for Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Shaheen in his second over of the match dismissed veteran opener David Warner in the third ball and then in the 5th ball he bowled a full-length delivery angled across outside off and the No. 1 ranked Test batsman Marnus Labuschagne tried to play a drive and he was only able to outside edge the ball, which went straight towards the gloves of wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan.
However, after being down at 8/2 Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith batted exceptionally well and added over 130 runs together and at Tea, Australia were at 145/2 in 54.0 overs.
