Indian skipper Virat Kohli has accepted the Fitness Kit-Up challenge set by the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Recently, Tendulkar had nominated Indian footballer Sandesh Jhingan, hockey player Sardar Singh, shuttler Kidambi Srikanth and PV Sindhu from the other sports field.

Furthermore, the Master Blaster nominated Indian women skipper Mithali Raj and men’s skipper Kohli from the cricketing background.

Meanwhile, Kohli has eventually nominated wicketkeeper-batsman and his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Parthiv Patel, for the same challenge.

Kohli nominates Parthiv Patel for the Challenge:

Tendulkar urged the people of the country to play any sport of their liking. He asked his fans to Kit-up for the challenge and play their favourite sport.

Thus, Virat Kohli obliged to the challenge given to him by his childhood hero Tendulkar.

However, Virat stated in the video uploaded on his Twitter handle, “Hello guys, I am going to take up the Kit up Challenge and try to time how quickly I can do this. I think its very exciting and I would like to nominate Parthiv Patel to do the same”.

Thus, Kohli put on his RCB kit in a jiffy to complete his challenge.

Meanwhile, Kohli is leading the Indian team with such aplomb. The Indian team won their two-match Twenty20 International series against Ireland convincingly by 2-0.

Subsequently, the Men in Blue will like to be at the top of their game against a potent England side.

India’s tour to England will begin with a three-match T20I series with the first match set to be played on 3rd July at the Old Trafford.

The shortest format will be followed by three-match One-Day series.

India will then take on England in a pivotal five-match Test series. Thus, the Virat Kohli-led team will have time to get acclimatized to the English conditions.

Here is Kohli’s video in which he accepts Sachin Tendulkar’s Kit-Up challenge.
