A video clip of a kid still in his diapers playing some classic cricket shots has been viciously doing the round on social media and rightly so. The sight of the kid wearing a pair of gloves and playing some exquisite lofted straight drivers as well as cover drives with his plastic bat is just unreal. Unsurprisingly, the talented kid has left the cricket fans as well as a number of cricketers in awe of himself.

A few days ago, former England captain Michael Vaughan had posted the video on his social media profile. And on Friday, his former England teammate Kevin Pietersen also did the same. Pietersen, in fact, was so impressed with the kid that he went on to ask India skipper Virat Kohli whether he could pick the cricket prodigy in his team.

And Virat Kohli did not take long to respond as he too made it clear that was blown away by the kid’s shot-making.

“WHAT?!?!?!?!?! Get him in your squad, @virat.kohli! Can you pick him?!?!” Pietersen wrote as caption.

In reply, Virat Kohli acknowledged the “unreal” talent the kid possesses as he wrote:

“Where’s he from??? He’s unreal.”

Not only Virat Kohli, Australia wicketkeeper Phil Neville had also reacted to the video with a string of heart emojis.

Here is that post from Kevin Pietersen:
