Virat Kohli in Top 10 of 2018 Instagram Rich List

As per the 2018 Instagram rich list released by HopperHQ.com, an Instagram post scheduling tool, Team India skipper Virat Kohli is at the ninth position in this list. He is among the list of athletes who can charge the most money for most sponsored posts on the photo-sharing app team.

On the other hand, the 29-year-old Kohli is preparing to lock horns against England in an intense five-match Test series starting from 1st August.

It will be a huge series for both Kohli and the Indian team. They have lost seven of their last nine Tests in England.

However, the current team has some real superstars and they should be raring to make an impact for their team. It will be interesting to see how the Indian players cope with the conditions in England.

Kohli had a pretty ordinary Test series in England last time around. He managed to score just 134 runs in 10 innings at a below-par average of 13.40. He kept getting dismissed while fishing deliveries outside the off stump.

But it must be noted that Kohli is a much-improved batsman now. Eventually, he should be in good stead ahead of the series.

As India and Kohli gear up for the series, the skipper keeps on making a record outside the cricketing field. Kohli demands up to USD 120,000 (Rs. 82 lakh approx.) to share any sponsored posts with his 23 million followers on the social networking site.

Interestingly, the list is headed by Cristiano Ronaldo, who made a big move to Juventus from Real Madrid. He is followed by the likes of Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi, David Beckham, Gareth Bale, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Luis Suarez respectively.

Meanwhile, the UFC fighter Conor McGregor occupies the eighth position.

Golden State Warrior Basketball player Stephen Curry, who has a 50-0 undefeated winning streak in boxing rounds off the top 10. Virat Kohli is the only cricketer in the list of 2018 Instagram Rich List which is headed by global stars.
