Indian skipper Virat Kohli showed some great determination during India’s first dig as he eased his way to the three-figure mark. Kohli became the second Indian to score two or more hundreds in South Africa after Sachin Tendulkar.

Kohli came to South Africa on the back of a stunning home series scoring tons of runs. However, he failed to deliver at Cape Town in the first Test.

However, stunning Kohli rose to height when his team needed the most. Kohli came at a time when India was struggling at 28 for 2, losing two wickets off two balls. As wickets tumbled on from the other end, he proved his worth playing some delightful shots. Kohli finished the day on 85 and as India reached 183 for five at stumps on Day 2.

Kohli continued his form in the morning session as he reached the milestone in the 67th over with a slight glance to the onside. He already started celebrating after completing the single, however, when he saw the opportunity of an extra run he ran for it. Kohli was seen extremely pumped up as jumped on to the air to express his happiness.

Although, India lost the wicket of Hardik Pandya against the run of play. Pandya forgets to ground his bat as Philander affects a direct throw to get him out. However, India is looking good to go past South Africa’s 335 with Ravichandran Ashwin and Kohli batting well.
